A brief history of the UK AH Convention
Over the last six years or so, an initial "get together" organised by the Kraits Squadron has evolved in to an Annual Convention
The name evolved too, through "UK Air Warrior Convention" and "EVACC" (European Virtual Air Combat Convention) - partly following the fortunes of Air Warrior, where many of us started with combat flight sims.
All current, future and ex-players of massively multiplayer online flight sims are welcome to come along (and bring partners). A quote from one of this year's organisers:
"I attended the first Convention in 1997 for want of anything better to do that weekend, and with few expectations. I left with a huge grin and many new friends and haven't missed one since"
